Default stop the blessed hench from running away every time i take a step

Please, for the love of god and my sanity, STOP THE HENCH FROM RUNNING BACK TO ME EVERY TIME I TAKE A STEP DURING BATTLE!!!

It would seem that all the AI mobs had to do to remain safe is swarm me, because as long as i move just an inch from my spot, my hench and heroes wont attack a single blessed thing.

I set them to a target, we all attack, i need to adjust my location for some reason, any reason, and all the hench/heroes run back to my side, forsaking their target and suddnly WHAM!!!! we all start suffering massive damage.

It used to be that i would have to run half way across a map to get Little Thom to stop attacking something, now these guys run away as my foot shifts in the dirt. PLEASE do something about this. I am about ready to throw my damned computer out of the window. Nothing, absolutely nothing i have encountered in this game has frustrated me as much as this one issue. And, i don't mean challanged, i mean frustrated= driven me stark raving bonkers=blood swelling in my eyes mad. DO SOMETHING DO SOMETHING DO SOMETHING

have i made my frustration and anger at the issue come across adequately?

Are they set to aggressive? Cause unless somethings changed in the 12 hours or so since I was last on, I haven't seen this problem. Often I attack the first opponent to aggro the mob and then spend my time moving around picking up loot. If I plant a flag then they run away to the flag but not seen your problem. How far back are you standing?

I tend to experience this as my necro, so casting wanding range. If i go to pick something up, or if i run further _into_ the mob, they still stop attacking. Run away, run in, run to the side, they stop attacking. Stay still and get pummeled, they will continue to attack. Aggressive/guard, doesn't matter. In fact, if you don't plant a flag, there is little difference in the wording of the two.

It is true that they wait less to follow you if you move away from battle, they may be done so because there are flags now.

I instinctively go around those IA issues. I maned to aggro with them when there was no flags, and I found the way to prevent them for stoping the attack.
1. Move by cliocking the terrain, not by using the keyboard. With one excetion:
1b. If you need to go back or retrat, never turn around, use the the keyboard to slowly walk backwards.
2. Do not move more than 3-5 steps away from the last place you where last tme you called a target.
3. Call a target during and after the move.

Remeber that if you have low health, henchmen with healing skills will follow you to heal you for one and half an aggro range.

This will only serve for casters. If you are a melee atacker, just try to set a flag and move near the enemy.
